Continual Excellence and Service to the Australasian Martial Arts Community
Fabrizio started his martial arts journey in 1982, training in Chidokan Karate at the Kingsford Police Boys Club. By 18, he had earned his 1st-degree black belt, laying the foundation for his lifelong dedication to the martial arts.
Over the years, Fab expanded his skills by training in Okinawan Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), boxing, kickboxing, Thai Kickboxing and Arnis, gaining a well-rounded understanding of striking, grappling, self-defence, and weapon-based combat. His journey eventually led to KMA Martial Arts, where he began studying Hapkido under Grandmaster Fari Salievski. Through years of dedication and rigorous training, he has achieved the rank of 6th-degree black belt in Hapkido and now serves as the highest-ranked instructor at KMA headquarters.
In addition, Fab holds an 8th-degree black belt in both Okinawan Karate and Kyusho Jitsu, this pursuit was an intent to refine his expertise in traditional karate principles, pressure points, and advanced combat techniques.
Fab owned and operated his own martial arts school for 15 years, where he had the privilege of guiding students through their martial arts journey. His school was built on the principles of discipline, respect, and personal growth, providing an environment that fostered both physical and mental development. During that time, he helped students improve their self-defence skills while also nurturing their confidence and resilience.
Today, Fab continues to train, teach, and mentor martial artists of all levels. His aim is to help them develop both physical skills and mental resilience. Fab believes martial arts is more than just training—it is a way of life, and his is committed to passing on its values to the next generation.
